This is the busiest I’ve been in my entire life. In college, I never seemed to have enough time to study. Looking back on those years, I wonder if I’ll ever have that much free time again! For the first thirteen weeks after giving birth to Maya, I was on maternity leave. Now I’m back to work full-time, I just “relaunched” The Feisty House, oh…and I have Maya.
I used to try to force Maya into my adult schedule and would get really frustrated on days that she didn’t nap or eat when I wanted her to. Finally I started working around what works best for her, and we’re both a lot happier. Instead of prioritizing work, I prioritize spending quality time with her. She won’t be little forever, and I really want to cherish this time with my first baby.
On Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, so I try to work my schedule out so that Maya and I are able to do things in between emails and conference calls. But I need help keeping everything working, blogging and mommy-ing in order, especially as I try to get everything straight before the holidays. When my hands are full kissing chubby cheeks and drooling lips, I can rely on my Google Home to help me get everything done.
Google Home is there to help out with the little things that make life a whole lot easier. When I’m at home, I’m constantly balancing my work life, my blog life and my family life. With Google Home, I’ll never have to stop what I’m doing to keep things moving. Google Home is powered by the Google Assistant and voice activated so that I can get things done even when I have my hands full.
When I wake up in the morning and want to know what kind of free time I’ll have to spend with the baby, all I have to say is, “Ok Google, tell me about My Day,” and I get reminders for all my conference calls and meetings while I’m changing her diaper and getting her into her play clothes. If we have some time in the morning before my first call, Maya and I dance to songs on her playlist. All I have to say is “Next song,” if I want to skip to her favorite (which right now is “My House” by Flo Rida). If we want to head out for a walk during my lunch break, I just ask, “Ok Google, will we need an umbrella today?” and then we can decide if we’re up to going out in the freezing rain (spoiler alert: we never are).
Not only is Google Home functional, but it’s also a beautifully designed product that looks great no matter where I plug it in. And with customizable bases to fit any décor or personality, Google Home fits right in with your home life. It’s basically becomes a member of the family! Plus with the holidays in full swing, Google Home makes a great gift for people on your list who have a lot going on and need a help keeping everything going! Google Home could be a great way to manage all your many roles: whether that’s “girl boss,” “mom boss,” and everything in between. And now you can get 6 months of FREE YouTube Red with every Google Home purchase!
I hope you end up loving this product and it becomes a helpful part of your daily routine. Don’t forget to let me know how much you love it!
