I hope that most of you were able to relax and recharge over the long weekend. I wanted to get more done, but it felt so good to do absolutely nothing for a change! I did get out of the house long enough to attend the “Five-to-Niners” NYFW (New York Fashion Week) Brunch hosted by Courtney Quinn of Color Me Courtney. The concept was pretty cool: a brunch for publishers and content creators who also have full-time jobs, and therefore work on their blogs “five-to-nine” because they have a “nine-to-five.” Thanks to my #BLOGGERBOO Dhruvi for inviting me out and taking these shots!
I love having a “five-to-nine” (more like “five-to-eleven” most nights) outside of my “nine-to-five.” It’s a lot of work, but it keeps me sane. It gives me the opportunity to stay in touch with my creative side. Not to mention the fact that it’s introduced me to so many new and interesting people. That was the best part of this weekend: getting to meet other bloggers with the same creative passions who are also really down-to-earth. So no, I didn’t get to run errands on Sunday, but I’d say going to brunch was definitely worth it.
I hope you had a great weekend!
