crochet beach cover-up and tribal printed wrap skirt | The Feisty House

I finally made it to the beach. Even with all my back-and-forths to South Florida to plan my wedding, I haven’t made it to the beach. Not one time! So I was more than happy to head out to Fire Island this weekend to celebrate Ty‘s birthday. It looks like Nantucket, or at least what I’d expect Nantucket to look and feel like.

It was nice to get away from the city and relax for a bit. The next few weeks are going to be a bit hectic for me.Β The wedding is weeks (WEEKS!) away, and there are still so many loose ends to be tied up. Plus I’ve updated my CONTACT page and have included information for people who want to hire me! I can’t take on a ton of freelance jobs between now and the wedding, but I do want to keep getting experience with taking on projects, but just not at a rate that’s unmanageable.

Even with all my ideas for freelance, I’ve never once put up a standing page on this blog that would allow anyone to know what I have to offer and then hire me. It’s just such a big deal to say, “Hey, I do this, and you should pay me to do it for you.” Β Right now I’m offering (1) freelance blog content development and social media management, (2) one-on-one consulting for new bloggers (or bloggers who want to transition from hobby blog to business blog), and (3) photography services for style and fashion bloggers in the NYC area…because taking your own photos can be awkward (I’ve done it enough times to know!)

So that’s what I’ve been up to this weekend: beaching and blogging. Honestly, I could use another weekend day. Weekends are so lovely.
