STYLE | Lazy Sunday

June 23, 2014

Sometimes, Sundays are lazy, no-fuss, unplanned, go-with-the-flow days. That was yesterday for me. A truly “lazy Sunday.” My grandma cooked ackee and saltfish (with bammy and breadfruit) for brunch. The most work I did all day was re-arrange my closet. I put away all my winter clothes and gave away a bunch of old clothes (two garbage bags worth). Oh, and I henna’d my hair, but that’s not labor intensive. I just sat around with henna in my hair for 3 hours.

I love the softness of the tees and tanks from Quentin’s line. They’re perfect for those days when you just want something easy to wear. True lazy Sunday style. Lucky for me, I get to wear them whenever I want! Lucky for you, you read The Feisty House, so you get a discount on Tallawah Collective through August 31st. Hope you had a lovely summer Sunday!

To answer your question, I NEVER henna the dyed portion of my hair. I section it off and only henna the hair that doesn’t have any color. I don’t want my blonde to turn orange!
