Julia Sarr-Jamois started her career in fashion as a model for brands including Diesel and Fred Perry. She then became a styling assistant at i-D Magazine before moving on to become the fashion editor at Wonderland mag in 2010. Julia is now a freelance stylist (she’s worked for Moschino, Sonia Rykiel, and most recently Topshop), and also the fashion editor-at-large for i-D. Julia also contributes to a number of other magazines, such as Teen Vogue and Vogue Japan.
Julia has accomplished such great things at a young age (she’s just in her twenties!) and I can’t wait to see how her personal style evolves over the next few years. Her style is definitely something all her own. A lot of street style favorites wear bright colors and large patterns, but Julia does it in a way that’s totally specific to her personal style. Her looks don’t come off as forced, but they aren’t randomly thrown together either. That’s what makes a good stylist, right? Seems like Julia’s definitely found her calling. And can we talk about her signature ‘fro??! So carefree and fun.
