{ARTSY FARTSY} If you read style blogs, you’ll get a kick out of the new Tumblr Sh-t Bloggers Wear. Cecilia uses pen and ink to sketch those items you see over and over again on blogs, like that Celine trapeze bag, or the Valentino Rockstud heels.

{EYE-OPENING} Looking for a reason to stop thinking about it and start doing whatever your “it” is? Watch these three short films, and I bet you’ll be forever inspired. They’re so well-done, and our inspo tour guide is easy on the eyes too. Winning.

{FASHION-FORWARD} Refinery29 interviews the sisters behind Brooklyn fashion line William Okpo. Their stuff is AMAZING!

{URBAN ELEGANCE} Chai of Back to Curly shares her love for online mag By Way of Brooklyn, and now I’m hooked too. The site shares stories from all BK’s transplants. Being a transplant myself, I resonate with a lot of the stories, and they’re told so beautifully!

{INSTA ENVY} An author’s take on Instagram’s envy effect, and why social media is preventing us from making really connections.

{HIPSTER HEAVEN} Brooklyn Magazine features some of the borough’s finest, including Solange Knowles and Lizzy Okpo of William Okpo.

{LIFE LESSONS} Mattie of Mattieologie turns 29 and shares 29 things she’s learned in her twenties. Her post is definitely worth the read. My favorite is #28.

{IN DEPTH} I loved reading this NYT interview with Kanye West. I sincerely pray for Kanye, who is a far cry from the kid who once called himself “the Christian in Christian Dior.” This article helped me understand him a little bit more, and makes me feel there might be hope for him yet.
