It’s January 2013. I turn 30 in March 2015. So I have two years and two months to cross EVERYTHING off of this list. I haven’t used the past year very wisely at all. I’ve done almost nothing since my last list update in July. In fact, I need to uncross something off my list: find my signature fragrance. Unfortunately Burberry Body just isn’t working for me. It doesn’t last! So I’m back to the drawing board on that one.

There is one thing I crossed off the list–I will be moving to a new city in exactly one month! That’s right…I’m leaving D.C. and I’m heading to NYC full time! I report to work (same job, same position) on February 4th. That’s like, tomorrow! I’m nervous, and I’m going to miss living in D.C., but I’m so excited about living in New York. I think the hardest part of the transition will be going from living alone to living with my grandma, but I’m blessed to have a relative in the city. My goal is to stay with her through 2013. I’m not sure what the plan is after that, but I feel like God is saying this is the right time for me to move.  Of course I’ll keep you all up-to-date every step of the way…pray for me!

Hopefully “Move to a new city” isn’t the only thing I accomplish on my 30 before 30 list this year. It would be great to find a church in New York and get involved in ministry. And I do plan to start drawing again, so I should have prints to hang on my walls. Hmmmm…I guess we’ll see what the year brings!
